# Installation

Impulse is run using Docker images. You could use google cloud to host a kubernetes cluster. You can also run Impulse locally with either Docker-Compose or Minikube.

Keep in mind that when connecting to Impulse, the path and ports required will be different between gcloud, Docker-Compose and Minikube. If you are unable to connect, check that you are connecting to the correct URL.
