Authentication

Impulse requires authentication to use.

Janus

When using janus to authenticate in Impulse you must use the organization-auth plugin. This plugin is an extension of basic auth to allow for the addition of an organization with the user.

With this plugin you will need to create a user with an organization. This organization will be used to authenticate what data that the user is allowed to view. View Janus' documentation for more info on how to use the plugin.

Be aware

To properly work with Impulse's logger service whitespaces are not allowed in the name of an organization.
