Last updated 1 year ago

This is a crashcourse of ImpulseSync and we're going to go over a few details of the Overview of what ImpulseSync is. ImpulseSync allows you to connect to any platform supported through our custom built connectors in order to allow you acess to free your content and make it as composable as can be.

With ImpulseSync we use a variety of components from our custom built connectors that are used in conjunction with our endpoints and used in our jobs to start and end transactions to sync contact from the defined source and destination.

Lets start with the overview and how we do it. Our Custom built connectors are set with each endpoint each endpoint connects to a job and allows us to connect to each platform repository and sync content over, With the configuration of endpoints and jobs you can choose to sync over hundreds of pieces of content or sync over just a singular piece of content. We are going to walk through what each stage of setting up your content to sync and deliver to any CMS you'd like in this guide.

We are going to go over core fundamentals in this overview of step by step breakdown of ImpulseSync Step 1 Endpoints : a overview of what endpoints are how we use our connectors to connect to each system and what they are used for in jobs.

Step 2 Jobs : a overview of how to set up jobs how to create new Jobs, how our transactions work, and additional configuration to add to each job. Things like Content manipulator and mapping will be covered in this section Step 3 Syncing: This will be the end of the sync and walk through if there is still complication with the job we have troubleshooting and various cookbook recipes to get you started with your newfound knowledge of ImpulseSync!

Additionally we have a video going over the overview and the crash course of impulseSync.
