Submitting a ticket

Submitting a ticket for additional help on impulse sync.

If you need additional help or are stuck and lost, and require help from ImpulseSync Engineers you can follow these steps in order to submit a ticket for us to help you in the best way we can.

There are three required steps in order to submit a ticket the first being

  1. Screenshots and or videos of Source and Destination definition (REQUIRED): Providing screenshots and or videos of the issue and the content on each side, the Source and Destination are both required in order to help with your issue. This includes the content structure of your content type, the fields of the content type are required for us to know how to best help and diagnose the issue.

  2. Any Manipulation and Mapping being used (REQUIRED): If there is any manipulation or mapping in this job we require that the info of what content from the source needs to be mapped to the destination and the current mapping set. The best way to format this would be in a excel sheet detailing source fields that are moving or trying to be moved to the destination fields.

  3. A description of the problem (REQUIRED): A Brief description of the problem and what is the issue in addition to what it should be doing if there were no issues. The Additional information is optional but extremely helpful and would produce quicker results to troubleshooting and diagnosing your issues.

  4. Make sure to highlight anything necessary to understand how the job/pipeline was run like options or parameters any additional options to the pipeline/job that was added or options that you need to be added.

  5. Highlight what you have done with the issues so far any steps you've taken to try and troubleshoot on you're own if it has worked or hasn't please share any steps you've taken to try and fix the issue.

  6. Any additional errors or messages from impuleSync itself, we have a messaging system where we can find errors and messages from each job itself please provide any information found in these messages in a screenshot or copied text.
