# Time Machine

The Time Machine tooling in ImpulseSync allows for users to capture data from a system at a point in time. Then later sync to any destination connector from that point in time capture. These captures are referred to as snapshots.

There are a number of ways that Time Machine can be integrated into a users systems and used.

Time Machine allows users to recover from system failures using it as a disaster recovery (DR) system.

Time Machine can be integrated into a users CI/CD process to maintain history and roll back to a previous version of a system.
